Dear Parents/Guardians
Re: Double Elephant Printmaking Workshop Thurs 10th Nov 2011

The Art Department at Teign are delighted to be able to offer a Double Elephant printing workshop on Year 10’s Activity Day on Thursday 10th November 2011 at Teign School.
Double Elephant Print Workshop, based at the Exeter Phoenix, are a not-for-profit community art resource, who are able to deliver printing workshops in schools. Pupils will be able to learn new skills and explore a wide range of printing techniques with professional artists/tutors. The work pupils produce will be including in their developing coursework. Pupils will have the opportunity of learning simple effective printmaking methods using monoprint and collagraph print processes, printing onto paper and fabric.
The cost for this workshop will be £8 per pupil, and will include individual tutor time, and materials used. Pupils will gain confidence and improve their printing skills, and I am sure this will be a fun day and a fantastic learning opportunity for pupils.
Thank you for your support.
Kind regards
Mrs Southam
