Business Studies

Business Studies at Teign School is available from year 10 onwards. GCSE courses are studied in years 10 and 11. A level and AS level courses are taken in years 12 and 13.

Year 9 students should consider this new subject carefully. It is a good general introduction to the world of work and is relevant to all jobs from working in offices; working with people; working in a manufacturing environment; working in public service.

It is not necesary to have studied GCSE to take the A level course at Teign, although a good performance at GCSE will be expected.
