Course content

A practical subject area merging both Designing and Making with an emphasis on Commercial Product Design.

This requires the application of knowledge and understanding when developing ideas, planning, producing products and evaluating them with a focus on Product development from concept to customer. Most commercial products require some form of labelling, packaging or instructions and consequently an element of graphic design may be needed for the product to be complete, although this is not essential. In your own designing you will have to take into account how commercial products are designed and manufactured.
