Macbeth on the Loose by Robert Walker

(Teign School Production 2011)

The 2011 Teign School Production was Robert Walker's hilarious comedy 'Macbeth on the Loose'.

‘The play follows the story of Edward (played by Liam Collingborn) who is determined to play the lead role in the school production of Macbeth.  But to play the king, Edward must first play the villain.  Spurred on by his girlfriend Alexis (played by Emily Haydon), can nothing stand in the way of Edward’s rise to stardom?  Or will the dinner lady’s prophesy lead to his downfall?’

Craig Churchill (Director/Drama Teacher) ‘The play is cleverly written and has thrown up some creative challenges which the cast have tackled brilliantly.  Last year we put on High School Musical which was a huge success but this show is very different and displays what versatile and talented performers we have at Teign School.'

Public performances took place at 7.00pm on Tuesday 8th, Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th February 2011.
